If you go looking for self-appreciation and self-love, what do you discover? And how do you give that form?
During this creative workshop you will work with textiles together with artist Bas. Bas has created several personal wall hangings himself, including pieces made in memory of his parents. Starting from this idea, you will explore how textiles, shapes and materials can express what is meaningful to you.
By cutting, combining and composing, you will gradually create a personal wall hanging of your own. No experience with needlework is required to take part. Curiosity and a willingness to create are all you need.
You are welcome to bring your own fabrics or textiles that have a special meaning for you. A variety of fabrics and materials will also be available to work with.
