Where art and entrepreneurship come together

Rijksmuseum Twenthe was born from the vision of an entrepreneur: Jan Bernard van Heek. His belief that art holds immeasurable value for both society and business still lives on today. Since 1930, entrepreneurs and private individuals have contributed to the museum’s success – through financial support, donations, and active engagement.

In 2011, the Business Club of Rijksmuseum Twenthe was founded and, in 2016, merged with that of De Museumfabriek. Today, it is a dynamic network of companies that believe in the unifying power of art, innovation, and heritage. Together, we create more than remarkable exhibitions – we strengthen the living and working environment in Twente and add lasting value to the region.
